The Plan of Redemption

In Verses John 3:16-17, we read:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”  Jesus added in John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

Through the incarnation, human living, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ, the plan of redemption, the new creation, was established. Jesus Christ has become the New Man, replacing the sinful old man.

It is interesting to notice that like the old creation, the new creation is laid in 6 stages:  incarnation, human living, death, burial, resurrection, ascension.

Those 6 stages are supposed to be the life cycle of every man (man means human being.)

In John 1:12 Jesus declared:

But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He gave the right (or authority) to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. Yes, to those who believed in Jesus Christ and repented, Jesus redeemed them by removing their sin with His Blood, allowing them to be born again into the new creation, restoring them as children of God, reconciling them to the Father, and writing their names in the Book of Life of the Lamb of God.

Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus Christ defeated Satan, and Jesus Christ offered His own Blood to first and foremost offer forgiveness to fallen man by taking away the sin of fallen man. Then, Jesus restored back the divine life to the forgiven man by deposing into man the divine Spirit, known as the Holy Spirit. The forgiven man, receiving a new life for being born again (into the new creation), has become the new man. With the divine nature within him, man now can fellowship with God again. The relationship between man and the Father is thus restored. In God’s economy, any purification is done with blood. Jesus Christ was used as the sacrificial Lamb of God to purify sinful man, and to restore man's relationship with the Holy Father.

Hebrew 9:22 says  And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.”  Remission of sin or forgiveness of sin.

The devil is still using sin, as his instrument, to enslave human beings and cause them to suffer. Only the Blood of Jesus is able to break the power of sin, and set man free by delivering man from Satan's kingdom of darkness into the marvelous light of the Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ is the Light of the world.

If we sin, through the redemption plan, we can be forgiven. In 1 John 1:9, we read: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  Through Jesus Christ, our Redeemer,  we confess our sin to the Father, and we are forgiven. There is no need to feel guilty or shameful. Jesus Christ already paid the price for us with His own Blood. He already won the victory for us.

Revelation 12:11 confirms that we overcome Satan by the Blood of Jesus and by the Word of God that we confess, they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

Victory = Blood of Jesus + Word of God

In the above equation, the Blood of Jesus does not change. The only variant that can change is the word that we confess. God did His part by giving us His Son and His Word. We must do our part by believing in His Son and confessing His Word.

What word are we confessing? There is power in the Word of God.
