Our skin is the largest organ of our physical body and plays an important role in our well-being. We understand that we must take good care of it. That is why our soap is made with natural vegetable oils and butters, and scented with natural essential oils. To preserve the vitamins, nutrients, virtues, qualities of its natural ingredients, our soap is cold processed, and requires 6 to 8 weeks to cure. Please fill out our contact form for more information on our soap.
Yes, it is important to take care of our physical wellness, but it is more important to take care of our spiritual wellness. The Bible verse in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 says “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
From that verse, we realize that a human being is made of 3 parts: a spirit, a soul, and a physical body. Those 3 parts are linked together.
With our spirit, the innermost and deepest part of our being, we contact the spiritual, the invisible, intangible world. It is through our spirit that God, our Creator, the Creator of heavens and earth, speaks to us, contacts us.
Our soul is our very self, it is our personality, it is who we really are. Our soul is composed of the mind (thinking, reasoning), the will (decision making), emotions (feelings such as love, anger, happiness, etc… ). Our spirit is deep in our soul, it is the heart of our soul. Together, the spirit and the soul make our inner being, our invisible being.
Our body, with its 5 senses, is the external, physical, visible part of our being. With our body, we contact the physical, visible, tangible, material world. Our soul resides in our body.
The physical body contains the soul, and the soul contains the spirit or heart.
Proverbs 4:23 says "Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life." We must therefore do diligence to keep or guard our heart against the vicious and aggressive attacks of the devil, the adversary and enemy of our Creator, the Creator of heavens and earth, called God in English.
How do we guard our heart? Let's consider what the Lord Jesus said in the Gospel of Mark.
“All of you, listen to Me and understand: Nothing that enters a man from the outside can defile him; but the things that come out of a man, these are what defile him.” (Mark 7:14-15)
The Lord further explained.
"Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods? What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.” (Mark 7:18-23)
Jesus also said in John 6:63
"The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life."
By giving us life, the Word of God allows us to keep or guard our heart. Every time we confess the Word of God, we receive life. So, let's use our bath time to confess the message that comes with our soap bar. It's another opportunity to feed our heart with the Word of God.
In Revelation 3:20, Jesus said, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."
Are we hearing the Lord Jesus knocking at the door of our heart today? Are we willing to open the door of our heart to let Him come in and dine or fellowship with us? Fellowshipping with God is the motivation for creating our soap. Turning our bath time into a fellowshipping time with God.
Let's go to the next page for further information on the benefits of fellowshipping.
